Since then, no combination of foodstuffs has been able to top that mixture. I mean, chicken, bacon and ranch came close back in 2003, but in the end it just didn’t stand the test of time. This was perhaps due to the fact that it was not amenable to cupping. Although if a chicken, bacon and ranch cup actually existed, I would eat it. Somebody please invent that. There is actually a chocolate peanut butter day. I had no idea that such a day even existed. But knowing that there are so many people who absolutely love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate, it really doesn't surprise me honestly!

But I digress. What the good people at Back for Seconds did with this here banana bread is truly amazing. It’s a new take on an old classic—just add peanut butter and coca powder to your normal banana bread batter and you’re on your way to flavour country, population: this loaf. For the topping, you warm up some peanut butter, put it in a plastic bag with the corner snipped off, then drizzle it on with a smattering of chocolate chips. Who doesn’t love the plastic-bag-with-the-corner-snipped-off method? It makes you feel like a master dessert chef.

Match it up with a tall, cold glass of milk. Or a hot coffee. Or if you’re really feeling sassy try pairing it with a chocolate milk or hot chocolate, or pouring the rest of the softened peanut butter into a mug and drinking that.
