Extremely Fast and Easy to Prepare, yet Irresistible: Honey-Sesame Grilled Chicken Wings
This Honey-Sesame Grilled Chicken Wings Recipe is a great addition to a party or family dinner when served with seasonal sides. The sticky sweet version replaces hot buffalo wings. Just serve them as finger food appetizers and watch how quickly they go! The ingredients you will need for this delicious appetizer recipe include soy sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, Asian chili paste, chicken wings with the tips removed, honey and hoisin sauce. You will also need toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion. To start to combine the soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and chili paste in a medium sized bowl. Then add the chicken and let it marinate for about 15 minutes, stirring often. Then set up a gas or charcoal grill on medium heat 350 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Then put the chicken wings on the grill and cover with lid. Cook, making sure to turn often, until golden brown, approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Then in a small bowl, combine the honey and hoisin sauce. Then using a pastry brush, generously baste the chicken wings with the honey glaze. Then cover the grill with a lid and cook until the honey glaze starts to caramelize, about 3 minutes. Then turn the chicken wings over and baste again, using the remaining honey glaze. Cook about 3 minutes more, being careful not to let the glaze burn, removing the chicken pieces from the grill as they're done. Then transfer to a platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion and serve with any remaining honey glaze on the side.
