They are especially useful for on the go people, especially people with kids and jobs to balance. It's a great way to have dinner ready to go when you walk in the door. Sometimes the worst part of making dinner is waiting for it to cook. But with the slow cooker, you have your meal ready right when you come home from work or school. It really is a brilliant invention for the busy people of this day and age.

The owner of this blog is Brandie and she describes herself as a Navy brat who is now married to a Navy man. Together they have a child in their home in Virginia. Having a family like that would really make anyone be inspired to always cook something good for them. And this is why she developed this blog aside from the fact that she really loves to cook. Ever since she was a child, enjoyed putting food together and coming up with some brand new recipes on her own. She started with simply learning how to fry an egg and continued as she experimented making crepes and filled them with grape jelly.

As Brandie got busy with work and life that she took some time off from kitchen work. It is not until her son was born that she went back to the kitchen to make some new recipes again. Now she was able to stay at home to take care of her baby and her family. Her passion to feed the people she loves was rekindled and now sheís back with a blog that will also inspire others to do the same. She has a lot of fabulous recipes that you will totally love to try out. They are all fairly easy to make too. Like this Slow Cooker Pork Chops recipe, it couldn't get any more simple than this.

Letís now move on to this recipe that she created using a slow cooker. You will need about four bone-in pork chops, one pack of onion soup mix, a can of chicken broth, 10.5 oz. Cream of chicken soup, dry pork gravy mix, and a teaspoon of garlic powder. You can always use the organic products if you donít want to resort to the powdered versions, but that is up to you. Ready the most important kitchen tool that you will need to pull this off, and thatís your slow cooker.
